Compare endpoint overview

Learn how compare endpoints can help measure the status for an area and help users understand their footprints, see our methodology and sources.

Compare endpoints are very valuable for organisations and public actors to set a baseline in an area and plan interventions, measuring changes as well as helping people understand their footprint. Seeing a relevant baseline change over time can be very motivating.  Comparisons are made on our main indicator, kilos of CO2e. Ducky offers a yearly average footprints for all Norwegian citizens per municipality, as well as more details for specific sectors.
